IMF approves $3.4 billion emergency funding for Nigeria regarding Corona Virus

The news getting to us is that on Tuesday, The International Monetary Fund (IMF) approved a $3.4 billion emergency funding which was requested by the Nigerian government as an aid for minimizing the effect of the coronavirus pandemic on her economy. The approval was given by the executive board of the fund under the Rapid Financing Instrument to back the government’s struggles to address the impact of the virus.

The remains of Abba Kyari, former Chief of Staff to President Buhari, has been laid to rest.

The Landlords and Tenants Association (LATAK) in Kenya has directed all tenants to stop paying their rents until further notice due to the impact of Coronavirus pandemic. 

Those who recently visited St. Edwards hospital in Ajah area of Lagos state, have been advised by its management to self-isolate after one of its patients tested positive for Coronavirus.
